About

Aspire Scotland provides a unique community-based, living and learning environment in support of some of the most vulnerable children and young people in the country. The Aspire team assists young people aged 8 to 18 years to be fully included within the local community and ensures they have the capacity to prosper beyond Aspire Scotland in the wider post-school world.

The underpinning philosophy is that of promoting purposeful living and learning within this neighbourhood model, whilst also ensuring that each young person’s individual views, strengths, interests and diverse needs are fully addressed. In short Aspire aims to ‘make a difference’ to the future life chances of each young person through developing their young workforce.

Aspire Scotland operates an outcomes-based model and has developed an innovative secure web-based communication and outcomes tracking system, known as the Gateway that allows its own staff and all involved placing authority personnel to contribute (in real time) to strategies as well as to monitor the progress of their young person.
