Aspire Scotland was delighted to be invited to speak at the Enterprising North Ayrshire open morning. Marketing Manager James Doyle took guests through the inspiring 6 year journey of Aspire Scotland and its young people and discussed the importance of partnership working.
Joined by like-minded businesses, Ready4Retirement and Geraldo’s of Largs, each speaker provided a telling insight into the challenges faced by both new and established businesses and the impact of the Team North Ayrshire network and the significant support it has provided in the growth and development of each business.
Aspire Scotland now operates 6 services across Ayrshire, creating over 120 jobs for local communities while also offering therapeutic environments where the mental health and attachment issues that many looked after and accommodated young people face can be adressed with care and support. Central to the organisation’s growth has been innovation and the community campus at the iconic Radio City building in Kilbirnie best demonstrates this practice.
Our partners at Team North Ayrshire and specifically Business Growth Manager Anne Blacklock, have provided invaluable supports in the regeneration of Radio City and enabled the organisation to embed the necessary in-house structures to support the team at Aspire Scotland in their mission to deliver positive outcomes for children and young people throughout the United Kingdom.
North Ayrshire, Chief Executive, Elma Murray spoke passionately about the diversity and quality of the business community within North Ayrshire and we at Aspire Scotland are committed to our partnership with Team North Ayrshire and fellow North Ayrshire businesses so we can continue to bring tangible benefits to our young people and the local communities of North Ayrshire.
